Manufacturing process of PVC artificial leather
The main raw material of PVC artificial leather is polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and the bottom is laminated with knitted fabric or woven fabric. Its manufacturing process includes the following steps:
Mixing: Mix PVC, flame retardant, stabilizer and colorant through a vacuum pump.
Coating: According to the texture selected by the design sample, select the appropriate release paper, apply the mixture on the release paper, and after multiple drying and coating, reach the appropriate thickness and uniformity. Then laminate the prepared base fabric with the coated PVC, and after drying again, roll up the release paper and fabric separately.
Manufacturing process of PU synthetic leather
The main raw material of PU synthetic leather is polyurethane (PU), and its manufacturing process is similar to that of PVC artificial leather, but it has better feel and elasticity:
Mixing: Mix PU resin, plasticizer and other raw materials.
Coating: Apply the mixture on the non-woven fabric substrate, and after drying and multiple coatings, reach the appropriate thickness and uniformity. Then the base fabric is laminated with the coated PU, and after drying again, the release paper and the fabric are rolled up separately.
Production process of microfiber synthetic leather
Microfiber synthetic leather (microfiber leather) is a high-end artificial leather, and its base fabric is a non-woven fabric made of sea island fibers. The production process includes:
Weaving: Select suitable sea island composite fibers, form them through non-woven weaving methods such as needle punching and spunlace, and then shape them through physical means.
Impregnation: Impregnate the woven base fabric in resin, impregnate, solidify, wash, repeat the above process, and then post-process and roll up to make a microfiber base fabric.
Surface coating: PU is coated on the surface of the microfiber base fabric, and after drying and multiple coatings, the appropriate thickness and uniformity are achieved.
